Candidates who appeared for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Preliminary exam can now check their results and download the PDF from the official portal. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Final-year students appearing for their degree examination may also apply, subject to producing proof of qualification at the time of the Mains exam.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years (as on the specified cutoff date).
- Maximum Age: 38 years for general category candidates.
- Relaxation: 5 years for OBC, 10 years for SC/ST (as per government norms), and additional relaxation for Ex-Servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
Application Fees
- General/OBC: ₹297.20 (including processing fee).
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹197.20.
- BPL Candidates: Exempted from the application fee (subject to producing valid BPL certificate).
- Payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Selection Process
The APSC CCE selection is conducted in three stages:
- Preliminary Examination – Objective type (two papers) held in a single day. It is qualifying in nature; marks are not counted for the final merit list.
- Main Examination – Written descriptive papers (English, essay, and optional subjects) that carry weightage for the final ranking.
- Personality Test (Interview) – Final stage that assesses the candidate's overall personality, communication skills, and suitability for administrative roles.
