Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants were required to meet the following academic conditions:
- A bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering from a recognised university or institution.
- The degree should include at least one relevant subject, such as Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/Computer Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science or Zoology.
- Candidates holding an eligible Engineering degree could also apply, subject to the conditions stated in the detailed recruitment notification.

- Prescribed physical standards and walking-test requirements must also be fulfilled for final appointment.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 21 years.

- SC and ST candidates are generally eligible for an upper-age relaxation of five years.
- OBC/MOBC candidates are generally eligible for a relaxation of three years.

Selection Process
