Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their undergraduate programme may also apply, subject to fulfilling the admission requirements within the deadline prescribed by the respective institute.
  • Individual business schools may prescribe additional requirements, including minimum graduation marks, academic background or work experience.
  • A valid ATMA score does not automatically guarantee admission. Candidates must separately satisfy the eligibility conditions of the institute to which they apply.

Age Limit

  • AIMS generally does not prescribe a specific upper age limit for appearing in ATMA.
  • Candidates of any age may apply if they meet the required educational qualification.
  • Participating institutions may apply their own programme-specific admission rules.

Fees

  • The ATMA August 2026 registration fee will be payable online during the application process.
  • The exact fee, available concessions and payment deadline should be verified from the session-specific notification.
  • Online payment may generally be completed through debit card, credit card, net banking or other supported digital payment options.
  • Registration fees are normally non-refundable once the application has been submitted.

Selection Process

  1. ATMA Examination: Registered candidates appear for the computer-based entrance test covering Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Skills and Quantitative Skills. The examination generally carries 180 questions, with one mark for each correct answer and a deduction of 0.25 mark for each incorrect response.
  2. Result and Scorecard: AIMS releases sectional scores, total scaled scores and percentile details through the candidate login. Candidates must download and retain the scorecard for admission applications.
  3. Institute-Level Admission: Participating colleges shortlist candidates using their individual ATMA cutoff. Shortlisted applicants may have to attend group discussions, personal interviews, written ability tests or document verification before final admission.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official ATMA website at atmaaims.com and open the registration link for the relevant 2026 session.
  2. Pay the prescribed examination fee using an available online payment method and keep the payment receipt or transaction reference.
  3. Complete the application form with the candidate’s name, date of birth, contact details, educational qualifications and preferred test city.
  4. Upload the required photograph, signature and supporting documents in the specified format before submitting the form.
  5. Note the generated PID number and password, as these credentials are required to access the admit card and result.
  6. To download the August result, open the ATMA candidate login on August 12, 2026, select the correct examination session and enter the PID number and password.
  7. Check the candidate’s name, roll number, test date, sectional scores, overall score and percentile shown on the scorecard.
  8. Download the scorecard PDF and take multiple printouts. Candidates should contact the examination authority promptly if any personal detail is incorrect.

ATMA does not usually publish a single centralised cutoff for every college. Cutoffs are decided independently by participating institutions and may differ based on programme, category, seat intake, applicant performance and admission policy.
