Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants were required to satisfy the qualification conditions prescribed for the Executive Assistant recruitment. The principal requirements included:

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution, with the minimum marks specified in the recruitment notification.
  • Successful completion of the Secondary School Certificate examination or an equivalent qualification.
  • Working knowledge of the Marathi language, including reading, writing and speaking ability.
  • Basic computer proficiency supported by an accepted certificate such as MS-CIT or another qualification recognised by the competent authority.
  • Candidates must produce original educational certificates and mark sheets during document verification.

Eligibility will be determined strictly with reference to the cut-off date mentioned in the original recruitment advertisement.

Age Limit

  • The general age range was 18 to 38 years, subject to the conditions stated in the notification.
  • The upper age limit for eligible reserved-category candidates was generally relaxed up to 43 years.
  • Additional relaxation may apply to persons with disabilities, former service personnel and other notified categories under Maharashtra government and BMC rules.
  • The date of birth recorded in the matriculation or equivalent certificate will normally be used for verification.
