Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • For BSEB Matric Registration 2027, the student should be enrolled in the appropriate secondary-level class at a school recognised by the Bihar School Examination Board.
  • Students generally enter the Matric registration cycle after completing the required lower-secondary studies, including Class 8, and continuing in Class 9 or the corresponding academic session.
  • For BSEB Intermediate Registration 2027, the student should have passed the Matric/Class 10 examination or an equivalent recognised examination.
  • Intermediate applicants must be enrolled in Class 11 or the relevant academic session at a BSEB-recognised school or college.
  • Regular and other permitted categories of students must satisfy the Board’s enrolment, subject combination and institutional requirements.
  • The student’s name, parents’ names, date of birth and other details should match the supporting school and identity records.

Age Limit

  • No recruitment-style minimum or maximum age limit has been specified for this examination registration.
  • Students must satisfy the academic admission and age-related rules applicable to their school or college.
  • Any discrepancy in the date of birth should be reported to the institution before final submission.

Fees

  • The category-wise registration fee has not been specified in the available notification details.
  • Students should obtain the official fee amount from their school or college before making payment.
  • Additional charges may apply for late registration, correction or specific student categories if notified by BSEB.
  • A receipt should be collected and retained after payment.

Selection Process

As this is an examination registration process, there is no competitive selection or interview. The application will generally pass through the following stages:

  1. Institutional verification: The school or college checks the student’s admission status, academic records, identity details and subject combination.
  2. Online registration and fee payment: The authorised institution uploads the information on the BSEB portal and deposits the applicable fee.
  3. Final confirmation: The student reviews the registration details or registration card and requests corrections within the permitted period, if necessary.

Successful registration does not by itself guarantee permission to sit for the examination. Students must also meet attendance, examination form and other conditions prescribed by BSEB.
