Selection Process

  2. CBT and skill test: Eligible candidates appear for the Computer-Based Written Examination, followed by stenography or typing tests relevant to the post applied for.
  3. Verification and medical examination: Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification, a detailed medical examination and any review medical process permitted under the recruitment rules.

Final selection will depend on performance at the applicable stages, fulfilment of eligibility conditions, category-wise merit and availability of vacancies. Merely appearing in the rescheduled CBT does not guarantee progression to the next stage.

How to Apply

The application window for the 2024 recruitment cycle is closed. Registered candidates can use the following steps to check the revised examination notice and their latest centre information:

  1. Visit the BSF recruitment portal at rectt.bsf.gov.in.
  2. Open the recruitment section for ASI Stenographer and Head Constable Ministerial Examination 2024.
  3. Select the notice relating to the rescheduled CBT for Jaipur's iON Digital Zone Sitapura examination centres.
  4. Read the notice carefully and confirm whether the roll number, shift or allotted centre falls within the affected group.
  5. Log in with the registered email address, mobile number or candidate credentials if an updated admit card is available.
  6. Download and print the latest admit card or centre intimation. Candidates should not rely on an older copy when revised details have been issued.
  7. Reach the venue before the stated reporting time with the admit card, an original photo identity card and any other required documents.
  8. Regularly check the recruitment portal for further corrections, examination instructions or result announcements.

Candidates scheduled for the September 3 second shift whose venue has specifically been kept unchanged should attend the examination at the original centre. Missing the applicable examination date due to a misunderstanding of the notice may lead to cancellation of candidature.
