Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
  • The degree must be recognised by the University of Kerala or another competent authority as equivalent for admission purposes.
  • Based on the usual admission framework, candidates in the general category are expected to require at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
  • Socially and Educationally Backward Classes may receive relaxation, generally requiring 42% marks, while SC/ST candidates are generally required to secure 40% marks. The 2026 prospectus will confirm the category-wise thresholds.
  • Candidates awaiting their final-year results may be permitted to apply provisionally, but they must produce proof of passing within the prescribed admission deadline.
  • Only candidates included in the eligible entrance examination rank list can normally participate in CAP option registration.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age and any applicable upper-age condition will be specified in the 2026 prospectus.
  • Candidates should check whether age conditions are subject to prevailing Bar Council rules, government orders or court decisions.
  • Documentary proof of date of birth must be produced during verification when requested.

Fees

  2. Complete the initial registration using a valid email address, mobile number and personal details. Create a secure password and retain the application number.
  3. Fill in academic, communication, category and reservation details carefully. Entries should match the candidate’s certificates.
  4. Upload the prescribed photograph, signature, proof of date of birth, degree documents, category certificate and other required records in the stated format.
  5. Pay the applicable online application fee and save the confirmation page or transaction receipt.
  6. After publication of the rank list, log in during the CAP window and register college preferences in genuine order of priority.
  7. Review and save the options before the deadline. Candidates should not select a college they are unwilling to join.
  8. Check the trial and final allotment results, download the allotment memo, remit the admission fee and report to the college with original documents.
  9. Keep copies of the application form, option list, payment receipts and allotment memo until the admission process is complete.
