Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a university or institution recognised by the Government of India or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
  • General-category candidates are required to have secured at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in graduation.
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and PwBD categories must generally have at least 55% marks, subject to the detailed recruitment notification.
  • Professional qualifications such as engineering, medicine, chartered accountancy or cost accountancy may also be considered where covered by the official eligibility conditions.
  • Applicants must possess valid documents supporting their academic qualifications and category claims during verification.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 20 years.
  • Maximum age: 30 years.
  • The relevant cut-off date for calculating age is specified in the detailed recruitment notification.
  • Upper-age relaxation applies to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Government of India rules.

Fees

  • SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates: ₹150 plus applicable GST.
  • All other candidates: ₹750 plus applicable GST.
  • Bank transaction charges, where applicable, must be paid separately by the candidate.
  • The application fee is generally non-refundable after successful payment.

Selection Process

  1. Online Objective Examination: Candidates will be assessed through sections covering areas such as reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, banking awareness and general knowledge, as prescribed in the examination scheme.
  2. Descriptive Test: A descriptive English-language assessment may be conducted as part of the online examination to evaluate written communication skills.
  3. Interview and Document Verification: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written examination will be called for an interview. Original educational, identity, category and eligibility documents will be checked before final selection.

Final appointment will depend on merit, category-wise vacancies, document verification, medical fitness and fulfilment of all eligibility requirements.
