Candidates should note that the city intimation slip only provides advance information about the allotted examination city. It is not a substitute for the admit card, which will contain the reporting time, examination centre address, roll number and instructions for the CBT.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree or the prescribed professional/postgraduate qualification in the discipline for which they applied.
- Engineering posts generally require a BE, BTech or equivalent degree in the relevant branch from a recognised institution.
- Finance, personnel, legal, marketing and other specialised disciplines may require qualifications such as CA, CMA, LLB, MBA or a relevant postgraduate degree or diploma.
- Candidates must satisfy the discipline-specific minimum marks and recognition requirements given in the detailed recruitment advertisement.
- Qualification details entered in the application form will be checked during document verification.
Age Limit
- The normal upper age limit for Management Trainee recruitment is 30 years for unreserved candidates, subject to the cut-off date in the detailed notification.
- Upper-age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under government rules.
- Candidates must produce valid category and age-relaxation certificates at the verification stage.
Fees
- Candidates in the General, OBC and EWS categories are required to pay the applicable online application fee specified in the recruitment advertisement.
- SC, ST, PwBD and eligible exempted categories are not required to pay the fee, subject to notification conditions.
- Any fee already paid is normally non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against another recruitment process.
Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test: The three-hour CBT is expected to include Paper I covering general awareness, reasoning, numerical ability and English, and Paper II covering professional or discipline-related knowledge. Candidates must follow the question and marking scheme printed on the admit card or official instructions.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called to produce original educational, identity, category and experience documents, wherever applicable. Their eligibility will be assessed with reference to the application closing date.
- Medical Examination: Provisionally selected candidates must clear the prescribed pre-employment medical examination before appointment as Management Trainees.
