Selection Process

- Online Choice Filling & Locking – Eligible candidates log in at csab.nic.in, fill their preferred institute–course combinations, and lock choices by August 5, 2026. Unlocked choices will not be considered.
- Seat Allotment & Reporting – Based on rank, choices, and seat availability, CSAB releases the Round 1 allotment on August 6, 2026, followed by document verification and fee payment at the reporting centre to freeze the seat.
How to Apply
- Visit the official portal csab.nic.in and click on the "Mock Seat Allotment Result 2026" link on the homepage.
- Log in using your JEE Main 2026 application number, roll number, and password/date of birth.
- Review the mock allotment carefully — this is a draft to help you gauge your chances, not the final seat. Note that mock results are tentative and may not reflect the actual Round 1 outcome.
- Edit or reorder your choices if needed — add higher-preferred options or remove under-utilised ones to improve your Round 1 chances.
- Lock your final choices on or before August 5, 2026 (11:59 PM). Once locked, no further changes are permitted.
- Download and print the choice-filled summary for reference. Keep the payment receipt and original certificates ready for document verification after the Round 1 allotment on August 6.
Pro Tip: Use the mock allotment as a strategic guide. If your mock allotment shows a better option than your earlier preferred choices, you can still modify preferences — but always lock before the deadline to stay in the process.
