Candidates should complete the acceptance process well before the deadline. Simply receiving an allocation does not confirm admission unless the candidate accepts the seat and completes the subsequent college approval and fee-payment requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • Candidates must meet the programme-specific eligibility conditions prescribed by Delhi University, including subject combinations and minimum qualifying marks where applicable.
  • Sports quota applicants must possess valid sports participation or achievement certificates for the relevant level and period specified in the admission rules.
  • ECA applicants must have valid certificates or documented achievements in the selected ECA category.
  • ITEP applicants must satisfy the eligibility and entrance-test requirements applicable to the integrated teacher education programme.
  • Candidates must also fulfil the applicable CUET, NCET, trial, performance assessment or merit conditions, depending on the course and admission category.

Age Limit

  • No general age limit has been specified for the seat-allocation process.
  • Applicants must comply with any age condition prescribed by the concerned programme, regulatory body or professional council.
  • Category-based relaxation, where applicable, will be governed by university and government rules.

Fees

  • Candidates must pay the admission fee displayed on their dashboard after the allotted college approves the application.
  • The payable amount may vary according to the college, course and candidate category.
  • Any registration or category-specific charges already paid are generally treated separately from the final admission fee.
  • Candidates should verify the amount, payment deadline and refund conditions on the admission portal before completing payment.

Selection Process

  1. Eligibility and document scrutiny: DU examines academic details, entrance-test information and Sports, ECA or ITEP-related documents submitted during registration.
  2. Category-based assessment: Allocation is prepared using the applicable entrance score, merit criteria, certificate evaluation, trial or performance assessment, programme preference and seat availability.
  3. Seat allocation and admission approval: Selected candidates must accept the seat online, after which the allotted college verifies the application. Admission is confirmed only after approval and successful fee payment.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official DU admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
  2. Open the relevant CSAS UG, Sports, ECA or ITEP admission section, as applicable.
  3. Log in using the registered credentials, such as the application number, email address and password.
  4. Open the allocation dashboard and carefully check the allotted college, programme, category and preference details.
  5. Click the Accept Allocation or equivalent option before August 13, 2026. Candidates should not wait until the final hours because delayed acceptance may not be permitted.
  6. Keep scanned and original copies of the Class 10 and 12 certificates, category certificate, photograph, signature, identity proof, entrance scorecard and relevant Sports or ECA certificates ready for verification.
  7. Monitor the dashboard for queries from the allotted college. Respond within the prescribed period, pay the admission fee after approval and download the payment receipt and provisional admission confirmation.
  8. Save screenshots or PDF copies of the accepted allocation and all transaction records for future reference.

Candidates should verify every entry before accepting the seat. Failure to accept within the notified period, respond to document queries or pay the fee on time may lead to cancellation of the allocation.
