The Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun has released the MTS re-examination admit card for the Group C recruitment drive. Candidates registered for the Multi-Tasking Staff examination can download their hall tickets from fri.icfre.gov.in using their login credentials. The recruitment drive covers 72 Group C vacancies, including 22 MTS posts.

Candidates must verify the examination date, reporting time, centre address and instructions printed on the admit card. Entry to the examination venue may not be permitted without a valid hall ticket and original photo identity proof.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • For the MTS post, candidates must have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • The required qualification must have been obtained by the eligibility cut-off date specified in the original recruitment notification.
  • Candidates called for document verification must produce the original Class 10 certificate and mark sheet.
  • Applicants whose qualifications or personal details do not match their application may be disqualified.

Age Limit

  • The prescribed age range for the MTS post was generally 18 to 27 years, calculated as of the cut-off date in the recruitment notice.
  • OBC candidates are eligible for up to three years of age relaxation.
  • SC and ST candidates are eligible for up to five years of relaxation.
  • Relaxation for PwBD, departmental and other eligible candidates applies under Central Government rules.

Fees

  • General, OBC and EWS candidates: ₹1,500 under the original application process.
  • SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates: ₹700 under the applicable concessional fee provision.
  • No separate fee is required to download the MTS re-exam admit card.
  • Application fees already paid are ordinarily non-refundable.

Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based/Written Examination: Registered candidates must appear for the MTS re-examination at the centre and time stated on the hall ticket. Marks obtained in the applicable examination will be used for preparing the merit list.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to present original educational, category, identity and other eligibility documents.
  3. Medical Fitness and Final Appointment: Appointment will be subject to medical fitness, verification of eligibility and fulfilment of recruitment conditions. No interview is normally required for the MTS post.

  4. Enter the registration number, date of birth or password requested on the login page.
  5. Submit the details and check the candidate’s name, photograph, roll number, examination date, shift and venue.
  6. Download the admit card PDF and print at least two clear copies for examination-day use.
  7. Carry the printed hall ticket, an original government-issued photo ID and any additional document mentioned in the instructions.
  8. If the admit card contains an error, contact the institute through the official recruitment helpdesk before the examination rather than waiting until the test day.

Candidates should reach the centre before the reporting deadline. Electronic devices, study material, calculators and prohibited items must not be carried unless specifically allowed in the admit card instructions.
