Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should possess a master’s degree in the relevant or allied subject from a recognised university or institution.
- A minimum of 55% marks, or an equivalent grade wherever the grading system is followed, is generally required at the postgraduate level.
- Applicants should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or an equivalent accredited examination such as SET/SLET, where applicable.
- Candidates holding an eligible PhD degree may receive exemption from the NET/SLET/SET requirement in accordance with applicable UGC regulations.
- Subject-specific qualifications may differ for disciplines such as Fine Arts, Music or other professional courses. Applicants must check the relevant post advertisement before applying.
Age Limit
- The general age range is expected to be 18 to 45 years, calculated on the cut-off date specified in the detailed notification.

Selection Process
