  • Proficiency in the official or local language of the state or Union Territory applied for may be tested before appointment.

Age Limit

  • The standard age range is generally 20 to 28 years, calculated on the cut-off date notified by IBPS.
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit is available to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under applicable government rules.
  • Candidates must consult the CRP CSA XVI notification for the exact date-of-birth range and documentary requirements.

  • The final fee, payment window and bank transaction charges are subject to the detailed 2026 notification. Fees are paid online and are generally non-refundable.

Selection Process

The IBPS CSA recruitment process is expected to include the following stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination: An online qualifying test covering English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. Candidates must satisfy the prescribed sectional and overall standards.
  2. Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates appear for the main online test, which generally assesses reasoning, computer aptitude, quantitative aptitude, English language, and general or financial awareness.
  3. Provisional Allotment and Verification: Final allotment is based primarily on main-examination performance, participating-bank preferences and available state-wise vacancies. Document verification and local-language requirements must also be completed. No interview is ordinarily held for clerical-level recruitment.

  6. To download the admit card, reopen the CRP CSA XVI page and choose the preliminary call-letter link. Log in with the registration number or roll number and password or date of birth.
