Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the educational, age and other eligibility requirements prescribed for CRP CSA-XVI. Eligibility will be determined with reference to the cutoff date specified in the detailed notification.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
  • The applicant should have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate and must enter the graduation percentage while completing the application.
  • Computer literacy is required. Candidates should have studied computer or information technology as a subject, or hold a relevant certificate, diploma or degree.
  • Applicants may be required to demonstrate proficiency in the official or local language of the state or Union Territory selected in the application.
  • The required qualification must be completed by the eligibility date mentioned in the official notification.

Age Limit

  • The standard age range for IBPS Clerk/CSA recruitment is 20 to 28 years, subject to the cutoff date prescribed for CRP CSA-XVI.
  • Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates are generally eligible for five years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
  • Other Backward Classes, non-creamy layer, candidates generally receive three years of relaxation.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities may receive 10 years of relaxation.
  • Additional relaxation for ex-servicemen, widows, divorced women and other eligible categories will apply under government rules. Candidates must check the detailed notification for category-specific conditions.

Fees

  • General, OBC and EWS candidates: ₹850, including applicable GST.
  • SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and DESM candidates: ₹175, including applicable GST.
  • Any bank transaction or payment gateway charges must be paid by the applicant.
  • The application fee can be submitted online using a debit card, credit card, internet banking, UPI or another available payment option. Fees are normally non-refundable.

Selection Process

The recruitment process is expected to consist of the following stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination: An online objective test covering English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. Candidates must qualify to appear for the Main Examination.
  2. Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates will take an online test covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude. Final merit is generally based on Main Examination performance.
  3. Document and Local Language Verification: Provisionally shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and, where applicable, a local language proficiency assessment before allotment to a participating bank. No interview is ordinarily conducted for clerical recruitment.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in and open the section for Common Recruitment Processes.
  2. Select the link for CRP Customer Service Associates-XVI and click on the new registration option.
  3. Enter a valid name, mobile number and email address. Save the provisional registration number and password generated by the system.
  4. Complete the application form with personal details, educational qualifications, category, address and preferred state or Union Territory.
  5. Select examination centre preferences carefully. The chosen state can affect vacancy consideration and local language requirements.
  6. Upload the photograph, signature, left-thumb impression, handwritten declaration and other required documents in the prescribed format and dimensions.
  7. Preview the completed form and verify the candidate’s name, date of birth, category, qualification and state preference before final submission.
  8. Pay the applicable examination fee through the online payment facility and retain the electronic receipt.
  9. Download the submitted application form and take a printout for use during the examination and document verification stages.

Applicants should use an active email address and mobile number throughout the recruitment cycle, as examination and allotment updates may be communicated electronically.
