Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India.
- Candidates must have proficiency in the local language of the state/UT for which they are applying.
- Computer literacy (a certificate or diploma in computer operations is desirable but not mandatory).

Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination ā A qualifying online objective test consisting of Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and English/Hindi sections. The marks are only used for shortlisting candidates for the main exam.
- Main Examination ā A single-level online objective test covering Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. The final merit is drawn only from the Main exam marks.
- Provisional Allotment ā Based on merit, category, and candidate preferences, IBPS allots a participating RRB. The Reserve List is released after the first allotment list to fill vacancies that arise from non-joining or non-verification.
