Educational Qualification

  • Applicants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
  • Candidates should have a valid degree certificate or mark sheet showing that they completed graduation by the eligibility cut-off date specified in the detailed advertisement.

  • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to work in a technology-driven banking environment are expected.

  • Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates are ordinarily eligible for an upper-age relaxation of five years.
  • Other Backward Classes, in the non-creamy layer category, generally receive a relaxation of three years.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities may receive relaxation of up to 10 years, with additional relaxation where permitted under government rules.
  • Other categories, including eligible ex-servicemen, will receive age relaxation under applicable rules.

Fees

  • SC, ST and PwBD candidates: ₹175, including applicable intimation charges.

Selection Process

  1. Online Examination: Candidates will be assessed through an objective online test covering areas such as reasoning and computer aptitude, general or banking awareness, data analysis and interpretation, and English language.
  2. Local Language Proficiency Test: Shortlisted applicants may have to prove reading, writing and speaking proficiency in the language prescribed for the selected state. Candidates with qualifying academic proof may receive an exemption where allowed.
  3. Personal Interview and Final Verification: Candidates shortlisted on the basis of examination performance will be called for an interview, document verification and other pre-appointment formalities. Final selection will depend on merit, eligibility and medical fitness.

PET is a preparatory facility for eligible candidates and is not counted as a selection stage. Participation in training does not guarantee admission to the examination or appointment.
