Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The minimum qualification varies depending on the post applied for:

  • Technical Assistant: Candidates should possess a diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised institution. The required branch or specialisation must match the discipline specified for the vacancy.
  • Technician ‘B’: Applicants should have passed Class 10/SSLC and hold an ITI, National Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification in the relevant trade.
  • Cook ‘A’: Candidates should have passed Class 10/SSLC and must satisfy the cooking experience requirements prescribed by IPRC.
  • Fireman ‘A’: Applicants should have passed Class 10/SSLC and meet the notified physical fitness, endurance and medical standards.
  • Qualifications must be obtained from a recognised board, university or institute by the eligibility cut-off date.
  • Candidates should check the official notification for trade-wise vacancies, experience conditions and physical standards before applying.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age requirement is generally 18 years, subject to the post-wise rules in the detailed notification.
  • The upper age limit may differ for Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Cook ‘A’ and Fireman ‘A’ positions.

  3. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final selection will be subject to verification of educational, category and experience certificates, followed by medical fitness and other appointment formalities.

Meeting the eligibility conditions does not guarantee selection. The final merit list will be prepared under the recruitment rules specified for each post.
