Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The required qualification varies according to the teaching level and post category selected by the applicant. Broadly, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- For relevant primary-level posts, applicants should have passed Senior Secondary or Class 12 with the prescribed minimum marks and hold an approved teacher-training qualification such as D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed or an equivalent qualification specified in the notification.
- For graduate-trained posts, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject or subject combination along with the prescribed professional teaching qualification.
- Applicants must have qualified the applicable Teacher Eligibility Test, including the relevant JTET paper, wherever required.

Age Limit
- The minimum age is generally 21 years for the advertised posts.
