Overview

The MAH B.Ed Alphabetical List 2026 has been released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for candidates participating in the Bachelor of Education admission process. This is an admission-related candidate list, not a recruitment notification; therefore, the number of posts is not applicable, while the total available seats will be communicated separately through the CAP seat matrix.

Candidates should download the list from the official portal and carefully verify their name, category, candidature type, gender, qualification details and other information. Any discrepancy must be reported within the correction schedule prescribed by the CET Cell.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
  • Applicants must satisfy the subject combination and minimum marks requirements prescribed for Maharashtra B.Ed admission.
  • General-category candidates are generally required to obtain at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Maharashtra candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories may receive relaxation in qualifying marks, generally up to 45%, subject to the admission brochure.
  • Candidates must have appeared for the applicable MAH B.Ed CET 2026 or any other entrance test accepted under the relevant admission rules.
  • Final eligibility will be confirmed during online scrutiny and document verification.

Age Limit

  • There is generally no upper age limit for admission to the B.Ed course, subject to the rules for the 2026 academic session.
  • Candidates must meet all academic and domicile-related conditions prescribed in the official information brochure.
  • Any category or institutional restrictions will be applied during document verification and seat allotment.

Fees

  • No separate fee is normally charged only for viewing or downloading the alphabetical list.
  • CET application, CAP registration, counselling and admission fees, wherever applicable, must be paid online as notified.
  • Fee concessions for reserved-category candidates will be governed by Maharashtra admission rules.
  • College tuition and other institutional charges are payable after seat confirmation.

Selection Process

  1. Entrance Examination: Candidates are considered on the basis of their valid MAH B.Ed CET score and eligibility status.
  2. CAP Registration and Verification: Application details and uploaded documents are scrutinized, followed by publication of the alphabetical and merit lists.
  3. Seat Allotment and Admission: Seats are allotted through CAP rounds based on merit, reservation, preferences, seat availability and applicable admission rules.

The alphabetical list should not be treated as the final merit list or a guarantee of admission. It primarily allows applicants to check whether their registered details have been recorded correctly before the merit and allotment stages.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official State CET Cell portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.
  2. Open the admission portal and select the section for B.Ed CAP 2026 or the relevant higher-education admission process.
  3. Click on the notice or download option titled MAH B.Ed Alphabetical List 2026.
  4. Download the PDF or use the available candidate-search facility.
  5. Search by application number, registration number or name. In a PDF, candidates may use the Ctrl+F search option for faster access.
  6. Verify personal details, CET score, category, candidature type, university, qualification marks and reservation claims.
  7. If any information is incorrect, log in to the candidate account and submit a grievance or correction request within the notified period. Upload supporting documents where required.
  8. Save the corrected acknowledgement and keep a copy of the alphabetical list for future reference.

Candidates whose names do not appear in the list should first verify their registration status and document-upload acknowledgement. They should then contact the designated help desk or facilitation centre before the grievance deadline.
