Selection Process

  1. NEET UG merit: Candidates are considered based on their NEET UG 2026 rank, score, category and applicable reservation rules.
  2. Choice and seat processing: MCC processes the choices submitted by candidates against seat availability, eligibility, quota and counselling rules.
  3. Document verification and admission: Provisionally allotted candidates must report within the prescribed dates, complete verification and fulfil the institution’s admission requirements.

An allotment is provisional until the candidate’s documents, eligibility and credentials are verified by the allotted institution. Failure to report within the deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat under the applicable counselling rules.
