Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
  • Applicants must have qualified NEET UG 2026 and obtained the applicable minimum qualifying percentile for their category.
  • Candidates must satisfy the domicile, residency or institutional eligibility conditions prescribed for Madhya Pradesh state quota seats.
  • Applicants who participated in an earlier counselling round should check the official Round 2 rules relating to fresh registration, upgradation, resignation and eligibility.
  • Admission will remain provisional until the allotted college verifies the candidate’s original documents and NEET credentials.

Age Limit

  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026.
  • Any upper-age requirement or relaxation will be governed by prevailing NEET UG and counselling regulations.
  • Date of birth recorded in the Class 10 certificate or another accepted official document will be used for verification.

Fees

  • Candidates must pay the applicable online registration and counselling fee shown on the portal while submitting the form.
  • Payment can generally be completed through the online options available on MP Online, including card, net banking or UPI facilities.
  • Admission, tuition, security deposit and other institutional charges are separate from the counselling registration fee.
  • Applicants should retain the payment receipt and transaction reference number until the admission process is complete.

Selection Process

  1. Registration and merit eligibility: Candidates must register online and provide valid NEET UG 2026 details. DME will consider eligible candidates under the applicable state merit and reservation rules.
  2. Choice filling and seat allotment: Registered applicants must select and lock their preferred medical or dental colleges and courses. Allotment will be based on NEET rank, category, choices entered and seat availability.
  3. Document verification and reporting: Allotted candidates must download the allotment letter, report to the designated institution within the deadline, submit original documents and complete fee payment.

  1. Visit the official MP NEET UG counselling portal at dme.mponline.gov.in.
  2. Open the section for UG Counselling 2026 and select the Round 2 registration or candidate login link.
  3. Read the counselling schedule, eligibility conditions, seat matrix and instructions before beginning the application.
  4. Enter the required NEET UG details, including roll number, application number, date of birth and qualifying information.
  5. Provide personal, contact, domicile, category and Class 12 academic details carefully. Entries should match the supporting certificates.
  6. Upload the required documents in the specified format. These may include the NEET UG scorecard, admit card, Class 10 certificate, Class 12 marksheet, domicile certificate, category certificate, identity proof and passport-size photograph.
  7. Pay the prescribed registration fee online and verify that the payment status is successful.
  8. Review the completed form before final submission. Download or print the registration confirmation for future reference.
  9. Log in during the notified choice-filling period, arrange college and course preferences in the desired order, and lock the choices before the deadline.
  10. After allotment, download the result and allotment letter and report to the assigned college with original documents, photocopies and the required admission fee.
