Selection Process

  1. Registration and merit preparation: NEET UG-qualified candidates must register online and submit the required personal, academic and category details. The state merit list will be prepared using NEET UG scores and applicable reservation rules.
  2. Choice filling and seat allotment: Eligible candidates must select and prioritize participating colleges and courses. Seats will be allotted based on rank, category, preferences, seat availability and counselling rules.
  3. Document verification and admission: Allotted candidates must report as instructed, produce original documents, pay the admission fee and complete joining formalities within the deadline. Failure to report may lead to cancellation of the allotment.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the MP NEET UG counselling portal at dme.mponline.gov.in.
  2. Open the NEET UG 2026 counselling section and download the schedule, information bulletin and applicable seat matrix.
  3. Select the new registration link and enter the NEET UG roll number, application number, date of birth and other requested information.
  4. Provide accurate contact, domicile, category and Class 12 details. Upload scanned certificates in the prescribed format and file size.
  5. Pay the counselling fee online and save the payment confirmation page.
  6. After registration, review the state merit list and log in during the notified choice-filling window.
  7. Add MBBS or BDS colleges in order of preference. Candidates should compare college type, fees, location and seat category before finalizing choices.
  8. Lock the submitted choices before the deadline and download the locked-choice slip. Unlocked choices may be processed under the applicable counselling rules.
  9. Check the seat allotment result and download the allotment letter if selected.
  10. Report to the allotted institution or designated centre with original documents, photocopies, photographs and fee receipts within the specified period.

Candidates should avoid waiting until the final hours because incomplete payments, document-upload errors or portal congestion may prevent successful submission.
