Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The recruitment eligibility conditions generally require candidates to meet the following criteria:

  • A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • Knowledge of reading, writing and speaking the regional language of the state or Union Territory for which the candidate has applied.
  • The educational qualification must have been obtained by the cut-off date prescribed in the detailed recruitment notification.
  • Candidates may be required to produce original degree certificates and mark sheets during document verification.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Maximum age: 30 years.

  • Upper-age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under government rules.

Fees

  • SC, ST, PwBD and eligible ex-servicemen candidates: ₹100 as intimation charges.

  1. Phase-I Preliminary Examination: An online objective test covering English Language, Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. Candidates must meet the applicable qualifying standards to proceed.
  2. Phase-II Main Examination: Shortlisted candidates appear for a more comprehensive online test covering reasoning, English, numerical ability, general awareness and computer knowledge.
  3. Regional Language Test and Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in the main examination must demonstrate proficiency in the relevant regional language and submit their original eligibility documents. The language test is qualifying in nature.

Final selection is subject to performance in the prescribed stages, category-wise merit, vacancy availability, medical fitness and verification of documents.
