Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a recognised BAMS, BUMS, BSMS or BHMS degree, or the applicable provisional pass certificate, for the postgraduate AYUSH discipline concerned.
  • The qualifying degree must be recognised under the regulations applicable to Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha or Homoeopathy education.
  • Applicants must have completed, or be due to complete, the required compulsory rotating internship by the deadline prescribed in the AIAPGET 2026 information bulletin.
  • Candidates must also satisfy registration and counselling requirements laid down by the relevant statutory body, university or counselling authority.
  • Issuance of an admit card is provisional and does not by itself confirm final eligibility for admission.

Age Limit

  • No general upper age limit is ordinarily specified by NTA solely for appearing in AIAPGET.
  • Candidates must fulfil any age-related or service-related conditions imposed by the participating institution, counselling authority or applicable state rules.
  • Eligibility will be verified during counselling and document verification.

Fees

  • No separate fee is required to download the re-exam admit card.
  • The original examination fee would have been paid during submission of the AIAPGET 2026 online application.
  • Category-wise application fees and payment conditions should be verified from the official information bulletin.
  • Candidates should not make payments through unofficial links or share banking details in response to calls or messages.

Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based Test: Candidates must appear for AIAPGET 2026 or the notified re-examination at the allotted centre.
  2. Result and Merit Rank: NTA will prepare scores and ranks based on performance in the examination, subject to the applicable evaluation rules.
  3. Counselling and Admission: Qualified candidates must participate in central, state or institutional counselling, where seats are allotted on merit, category, preferences and availability.

How to Apply

Candidates who have already submitted their applications can follow these steps to download the re-exam hall ticket:

  1. Visit the official AIAPGET examination portal at exams.nta.ac.in/AIAPGET/.
  2. Locate the link titled “AIAPGET 2026 Re-Exam Admit Card” or a similar candidate activity link on the homepage.
  3. Enter the required login information, such as the application number and date of birth or password.
  4. Submit the details and verify the security pin if displayed on the login page.
  5. Open the admit card and carefully check the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, examination date, shift, reporting time and centre address.
  6. Download the PDF and print at least two clear copies for examination-day use.
  7. Read all instructions printed on the hall ticket, including permitted items, identity proof requirements and reporting rules.
  8. If there is an error in the admit card, contact the official NTA help desk immediately rather than attempting to alter the document.

The exam city intimation slip is not a substitute for the admit card. A city slip, where issued, only informs candidates about the allotted examination city, while the admit card contains the complete centre details and is required for entry.
