Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 8th for certain one-year and two-year trades.
  • For most engineering and non-engineering trades, candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
  • The minimum qualifying marks are generally 35% in the qualifying examination; however, this may vary by trade.
  • Candidates applying for the Trade Apprenticeship category must meet the age and qualification criteria as per the Apprenticeship Act.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 14 years (as of the last date of application).
  • Maximum Age: 40 years for general category candidates.
  • Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) receive age relaxation as per government norms.

Fees

  • Application fee for General / OBC / EWS category: ₹100.
  • Application fee for SC / ST / PwD categories: ₹50.
  • In many cases, SC/ST candidates may be eligible for a full fee waiver under the state government scholarship scheme.

Selection Process

  1. Merit Preparation: The provisional merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination (Class 8th or 10th, as applicable). No separate entrance exam is conducted for ITI admission in Rajasthan.
  2. Online Choice Filling: Shortlisted candidates are required to fill in their preferred institute and trade choices online through the candidate login portal.
  3. Seat Allotment & Counselling: Based on merit rank, choices, and seat availability, allotment is done in multiple rounds. Candidates must report to the allotted institute for document verification and final admission within the specified deadline.

  2. On the homepage, click on the link titled "ITI Admission 2026 — Provisional Merit List" under the admissions or notification section.
  3. A login page will open — enter your application number and date of birth as credentials.
  4. Click on Submit and the provisional merit list will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and save the merit list as a PDF for future reference during the counselling process.
  6. Candidates are advised to check their allotted institute and trade against their roll submission and note any discrepancy before the grievance window closes.
