Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
  • Applicants must satisfy the minimum qualifying-mark requirements prescribed for their category under the applicable NEET UG and medical admission rules.
  • Candidates must have appeared for and qualified NEET UG 2026 with the required category-wise cut-off score.
  • Rajasthan domicile, schooling or other state eligibility conditions must be met for seats reserved under the state quota.
  • Applicants seeking reservation must hold valid caste, EWS, PwBD or other relevant certificates in the prescribed format.
  • Final eligibility will be determined during online scrutiny and physical document verification.

Age Limit

  • The candidate should ordinarily be at least 17 years old on or before December 31, 2026.
  • Any upper-age condition will be governed by the prevailing NEET UG regulations and court directions, if applicable.
  • The date of birth recorded on the Class 10 certificate or another accepted official document will be considered for verification.

Fees

  • The Round 1 registration or counselling fee will be specified in the official notification.
  • Category-wise application fee details are TBA.
  • Candidates may also have to pay a refundable security deposit, depending on the type of seat or institution selected.
  • Registration fees, security deposits and tuition fees are separate components. Applicants should verify the payment rules before submitting the form.

Selection Process

  1. NEET UG Merit and Registration: Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 and successfully register for Rajasthan state counselling within the notified period.
  2. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted on the basis of NEET UG rank, category, reservation rules, seat availability and the order of choices submitted by the candidate.
  3. Document Verification and Admission: Allotted candidates must download the allotment letter, report to the designated institution or reporting centre, submit original documents and pay the required admission fee.

Failure to report or complete admission formalities within the specified period may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. Rules for upgradation, resignation and participation in subsequent rounds will be governed by the counselling notice.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the Rajasthan government portal at rajasthan.gov.in and locate the NEET UG 2026 counselling section.
  2. Open the Round 1 registration link and read the information booklet, eligibility rules and schedule carefully.
  3. Create a candidate account using the NEET UG roll number, application number, date of birth, mobile number and email address.
  4. Enter personal, academic, domicile, category and NEET UG score details exactly as shown on the supporting documents.
  5. Upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature, Class 10 and 12 certificates, NEET scorecard, domicile certificate and category documents, where applicable.
  6. Pay the prescribed counselling fee through the available online payment facility and save the transaction receipt.
  7. Complete choice filling by selecting preferred medical and dental colleges in order of priority. Review the order carefully before locking choices.
  8. Submit the application and download the confirmation page. Candidates should retain printed and digital copies for verification and reporting.
  9. Check the portal regularly for the merit list, provisional allotment result, reporting instructions and subsequent counselling notices.
