Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
- Applicants must possess working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
- Knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture, traditions and social customs is also required.
- Candidates who were awaiting their qualifying examination result were required to meet the eligibility conditions by the stage specified in the recruitment notification.
Age Limit
- The prescribed minimum age was 20 years.
- The upper age limit was 25 years, calculated with reference to the cut-off date stated in the original notification.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit applies to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MBC, women, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Rajasthan government rules.
- Date-of-birth proof must match the information submitted in the application form.
Fees
- General, OBC creamy layer and MBC creamy layer candidates: Rs. 350.
- Rajasthan OBC/MBC non-creamy layer candidates: Rs. 250.
- SC, ST and eligible economically weaker applicants: Rs. 150.
- These were application-stage charges. No separate fee is generally required for downloading the interview letter.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: Candidates were assessed through competitive papers covering general knowledge, general science and Hindi.
- Physical Efficiency and Measurement Tests: Written-qualified candidates had to meet the prescribed physical standards and complete the relevant efficiency tests.
- Interview and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear before the interview board and produce original certificates. Final selection will be based on performance across the prescribed stages, subject to eligibility and document verification.
