Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Assistant Prosecution Officer recruitment were required to meet the following academic conditions:

  • A degree in Law (LLB) from a university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the competent authority.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
  • Knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture and social traditions.
  • Candidates were required to possess the prescribed qualification by the eligibility date specified in the detailed recruitment notification.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Maximum age: 40 years, calculated on the cut-off date stated in the notification.
  • Upper-age relaxation applies to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, women, persons with benchmark disabilities and other eligible categories.
  • Relaxation is subject to Rajasthan government recruitment rules, and candidates must produce valid supporting certificates during verification.

Fees

  • General category and other state candidates: ₹600.
  • Rajasthan OBC/MBC non-creamy layer and EWS candidates: ₹400.
  • Rajasthan SC/ST candidates and eligible persons with disabilities: ₹400.
  • Correction charges, where applicable: ₹500.
  • No separate fee is normally required to download the admit card.

  1. Written Examination: Candidates must appear for the prescribed preliminary and/or main written papers covering law, language and relevant general knowledge topics.

  1. Visit the RPSC official website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Open the News and Events, Candidate Information or Admit Card section on the homepage.
  3. Select the link for the Assistant Prosecution Officer Admit Card 2026.
  4. Enter the required credentials, such as the application number and date of birth, or proceed through the Rajasthan SSO portal if directed.
  5. Submit the details and verify the candidate’s name, photograph, roll number, examination centre, date and reporting time.
  6. Download the admit card PDF and take at least two clear printouts for examination-day use.
  7. Carry the printed hall ticket along with an original valid photo identity proof. Candidates should also follow all instructions concerning photographs, permitted stationery and prohibited electronic devices.
