Overview
The Railway Recruitment Boards have released the RRB NTPC Undergraduate CBT 1 Cut Off 2026 along with the first-stage examination results. Candidates who applied for 3,058 undergraduate-level vacancies can check their zone-wise and category-wise qualifying marks through the website of their respective regional RRB.
The cut-off marks have been published separately for different railway zones, posts and categories, including UR, OBC, EWS, SC and ST. Candidates meeting the prescribed cut-off will be considered for the next stage of the recruitment process.

Candidates should refer to the result and cut-off PDF issued by the RRB selected in their application. Cut-off marks may differ between zones even for the same category because they are determined by factors such as the number of vacancies, candidate attendance, examination difficulty and normalized scores.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- The prescribed minimum is generally 50% aggregate marks in Class 12.
- The 50% condition is not insisted upon for SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates, as well as candidates possessing qualifications higher than Class 12, subject to the detailed notification.
- Typing proficiency in English or Hindi is required for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist posts.
- Applicants must possess the required qualification by the eligibility cut-off date stated in the notification.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Maximum age: 30 years, calculated on the date specified in the recruitment notice.
- OBC-NCL candidates receive up to three years of upper-age relaxation.
- SC and ST candidates receive up to five years of relaxation.
- Additional relaxation is applicable to PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under government rules.
Fees
- General, OBC and EWS candidates: ā¹500.
- SC, ST, PwBD, ex-servicemen, women, transgender, minority and economically backward class candidates: ā¹250.
- A prescribed portion of the fee is refundable to candidates who appear for CBT 1, after deduction of applicable bank charges.
- Payment was accepted online through the methods available on the recruitment portal.
Selection Process
- First and Second Stage CBT: Candidates must qualify CBT 1 based on the zone-wise and category-wise cut-off. Shortlisted applicants will be called for CBT 2, which will test General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning.
- Typing Skill Test: Candidates applying for Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist must qualify the prescribed typing test. This stage is generally qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final shortlisting is followed by verification of original certificates and a railway medical fitness examination. Appointment depends on merit, eligibility, vacancy availability and medical fitness.
The CBT 1 cut-off is not the final appointment cut-off. Final empanelment will be prepared after completion of all applicable stages and verification of eligibility.

- Select the preferred Railway Recruitment Board carefully, as the chosen RRB may not be changeable after final submission.
- Enter personal, educational, category and communication details, and select eligible post preferences in the correct order.
- Upload the required photograph, signature and supporting documents in the specified format, pay the applicable fee and submit the form.
- Download the confirmation page and retain the registration number. As applications are now closed, registered candidates should use these credentials to access their scorecard and check the relevant regional cut-off PDF.
