The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced a major recruitment drive for 13,398 contractual vacancies under the National Health Mission (NHM) and Rajasthan Medical Education Society (RajMES). The recruitment covers Data Entry Operator, Nurse, Community Health Officer and several other medical, technical and administrative posts across Rajasthan.

  • Candidates applying for nursing posts should possess GNM, BSc Nursing or another prescribed nursing qualification and must be registered with the relevant nursing council where required.
  • Applicants for Data Entry Operator and administrative posts may need a degree, diploma or recognised computer qualification, along with typing or computer proficiency.
  • Community Health Officer candidates must hold the prescribed qualification in nursing, community health, Ayurveda or another discipline specified in the detailed advertisement.
  • Laboratory, pharmacy, biomedical, social work and allied health posts require the relevant 12th-level science qualification, diploma, degree or professional registration.
  • Educational credentials must be obtained from a recognised board, university or institution by the eligibility cut-off date.
  • Candidates must check the notification PDF for post-specific experience, registration, internship and subject requirements before applying.

Age Limit

  • The general age range is expected to be 21 to 40 years, calculated on the date specified by RSSB.
  • The age requirement may vary for individual posts.
  • Upper-age relaxation will apply to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, women, persons with benchmark disabilities and other eligible categories under Rajasthan government rules.
  • Documentary proof must be produced to claim any age relaxation.

Fees

  • General category and creamy-layer OBC/MBC candidates: ₹600 as the applicable one-time registration fee.
  • Rajasthan OBC-NCL, MBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST and eligible PwBD candidates: ₹400.
  • A separate correction charge may apply if candidates edit permitted details after submission.
  • Applicants who have already paid the Rajasthan One-Time Registration fee should verify their status before making another payment.

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination: Eligible applicants will appear for a post-specific objective or computer-based examination conducted by RSSB.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original educational, category, registration, identity and experience certificates.
  3. Medical Examination and Final Selection: Candidates may undergo a fitness examination before appointment. Final selection will depend on merit, eligibility verification and vacancy availability.

RSSB may prescribe minimum qualifying marks or additional conditions for particular posts. Being called for document verification does not automatically guarantee appointment.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the Rajasthan recruitment portal or open the recruitment section on the official RSSB website.
  2. Log in using the candidate's SSO ID. New users must create an SSO account before accessing the application form.
  3. Complete or verify the One-Time Registration profile, including name, date of birth, contact information, category and address.
  4. Select the relevant RSSB NHM or RajMES contractual recruitment advertisement and choose the post for which eligibility is satisfied.
  5. Enter educational, professional registration and experience details exactly as recorded in the supporting certificates.
  6. Upload a recent photograph, signature and other required documents in the prescribed format and file size.
  7. Pay the applicable registration or application fee through the available online payment facility.
  8. Review every entry before final submission. Incorrect post selection, category details or qualification information may lead to rejection.
  9. Download and retain the submitted form and payment receipt for admit card, document verification and future correspondence.
