Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants must possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised university, institute or technical education board.

Selection Process

The SSC JE 2026 selection procedure is expected to include the following stages:

  1. Paper I: A computer-based examination containing objective questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and the relevant engineering discipline.
  2. Paper II: A second computer-based examination focused on Civil and Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, based on the discipline chosen in the application.

  6. Pay the application fee, where applicable, using an available online payment option.
