Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should possess a master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject, or a master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject.
- Other prescribed combinations include a master’s degree in any subject with Hindi or English as the medium of examination, provided the other language was studied as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
- A recognised diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa may be required for certain posts.
- Where specified, candidates may qualify through relevant translation experience in a central or state government office, subject to the conditions in the detailed notification.
- Applicants for the CRPF Sub-Inspector post must also satisfy the prescribed physical and medical standards.
Age Limit
- The standard age range is 18 to 30 years as on the cut-off date specified in the recruitment notice.
- SC and ST candidates are eligible for an upper-age relaxation of five years.
- OBC candidates receive an upper-age relaxation of three years.
