Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have passed the Class 10 or Matriculation examination from a recognised board.
- The required qualification must have been obtained by the eligibility cut-off date specified in the detailed notification.
- Candidates asked to attend document verification must produce their original Class 10 certificate and supporting documents.
Age Limit
- The minimum age for both posts is generally 18 years.
- For posts under the 18ā25 age group, candidates must be within the prescribed age bracket on the notified cut-off date.
- Certain MTS and Havaldar posts carry an upper age limit of 27 years.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Central Government rules.
Fees
- General, OBC and EWS male candidates: ā¹100.
- Women, SC, ST, PwBD and eligible ex-servicemen candidates: No application fee.

Selection Process
- Computer-Based Examination: Candidates first appear in the objective computer-based test. Marks and applicable cut-offs are used to prepare the shortlist.
- PET/PST for Havaldar: Candidates shortlisted for Havaldar must qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. These physical tests are qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification and Final Selection: Eligibility documents are verified before final appointment. MTS candidates proceed on the basis of their examination performance and document verification, while Havaldar candidates must additionally clear PET/PST.
The present result should not be treated as the final appointment list for Havaldar. Shortlisted candidates must attend the physical test on the date, time and venue communicated by the designated authority.
