  • Applicants must secure the minimum aggregate marks stipulated for B.Arch admission. Category-based relaxation, if available, will be governed by the official counselling brochure.
  • A valid score in NATA 2026 or another approved architecture aptitude examination, where permitted, may be required for rank preparation.
  • Candidates must satisfy Tamil Nadu nativity, academic and reservation requirements applicable to their category.
  • Final eligibility will be determined only after online certificate verification.

Age Limit

  • No separate upper age limit has been indicated for the counselling process.
  • Candidates must comply with any age-related condition prescribed by the affiliating university, regulatory authority or institution.
  • Applicants should verify the final information brochure before registering.

Fees

  • The supplementary counselling registration fee is TBA.
  • Category-wise fee concessions, if applicable, will be displayed on the portal.
  • Candidates should pay only through the authorised online payment facility and retain the transaction receipt.
  • Counselling charges are separate from tuition, admission, hostel and institutional fees payable after allotment.

Selection Process

  1. Registration and rank preparation: Applications, academic records and aptitude test scores will be checked before the supplementary rank list is prepared.
  2. Choice filling and allotment: Eligible candidates will submit and lock their preferred colleges and programmes. Seats will be allotted on the basis of rank, reservation, choices and availability.
  3. Confirmation and admission: Allotted candidates must select the appropriate confirmation option, pay the required amount and report online or at the institution within the deadline.

Supplementary counselling generally covers seats remaining after earlier admission rounds. Inclusion in the rank list does not guarantee admission.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the B.Arch admission portal at barch.tneaonline.org and open the supplementary counselling section.
  2. Read the 2026 information brochure, eligibility conditions, seat matrix and schedule before starting the application.
  3. Select the new registration option and enter the candidate’s name, date of birth, email address and active mobile number exactly as shown in official records.
  4. Create login credentials and complete the application with academic, category, nativity and architecture aptitude test details.
  5. Upload clear copies of the Class 10 certificate, Class 12 marksheet, transfer certificate, community certificate, nativity proof and aptitude scorecard, as applicable.
  6. Pay the prescribed counselling fee online and download the completed application and payment acknowledgement.
  7. Log in after certificate verification to check the supplementary rank list. Submit a grievance within the permitted period if any verified detail is incorrect.
  8. Enter college choices in order of preference, save them and lock the final list before the deadline. Candidates should include multiple realistic options because allotment depends on seat availability.
  9. Check the tentative allotment, confirm the allotted option and complete payment or reporting formalities within the notified period.

Candidates should not share passwords or one-time passwords with unauthorised persons. Failure to confirm an allotment or report within the deadline may result in cancellation of the seat.
