Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants were required to meet the prescribed academic and computer-qualification conditions by the application closing date. The principal requirements include:

  • Passed the Intermediate or Class 12 examination from the Uttar Pradesh Board or an equivalent recognised board.
  • Possessed a diploma in Computer Science from a recognised institution or university, or an equivalent computer qualification.
  • Candidates holding the prescribed DOEACC/NIELIT O Level certificate were also eligible, subject to the detailed recruitment conditions.
  • Candidates must possess the required Hindi typing proficiency specified for the Computer Assistant post.
  • Applicants claiming reservation or other benefits must produce valid certificates during document verification.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Maximum age: 40 years.
  • The age was calculated with reference to the cut-off date stated in the recruitment notification.
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit applies to eligible SC, ST, OBC, PwD, ex-servicemen and other categories under Uttar Pradesh government rules.

Fees

  • General, OBC and EWS candidates: Rs. 125.
  • SC and ST candidates: Rs. 65.
  • Persons with Disabilities: Rs. 25.
  • Any category-specific concession was subject to submission of a valid supporting certificate.

  1. Written Examination: Applicants are assessed through an objective or written test covering subjects and competencies notified by the commission.
