The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CAPF Assistant Commandant Result 2026 for candidates who appeared in the Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PST/PET). Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a university established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or another recognised educational institution.
- An equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government is also acceptable.
- Candidates who were awaiting their qualifying examination result could apply provisionally, subject to producing proof of passing within the prescribed period.
- The degree and other eligibility documents will be checked during document verification or the interview stage.
Age Limit
- The minimum age prescribed for the examination is 20 years.
- The upper age limit is 25 years, calculated on the cut-off date mentioned in the recruitment notification.
- SC and ST candidates are eligible for an upper-age relaxation of up to five years.
- OBC candidates may receive up to three years of relaxation.
- Relaxation for eligible government employees, ex-servicemen and other categories will apply under Central Government rules.
Fees
- General, OBC and EWS male candidates: ₹200.
- Female candidates: No application fee.
- SC and ST candidates: No application fee.

- Written Examination: Applicants first appear in the UPSC written examination comprising General Ability and Intelligence, along with General Studies, Essay and Comprehension papers.
