Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The required qualification varies according to the post selected by the candidate. Broadly, applicants must possess a relevant postgraduate degree from a recognised university or institution.
- For geology-related posts, candidates should hold a master’s degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, Earth Science and Resource Management, or another qualification specified in the detailed notification.
- For geophysics posts, an M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Marine Geophysics or an equivalent eligible discipline may be required.
