The examinations were conducted from February 10 to 22, and the students are supposed to attain a minimum of 34% overall for being successful in the examination. Results will also be made available through SMS and by utilizing the official mobile applications. The mark sheets in original will be issued by schools starting May 10 onwards. Supplementary exams will be conducted in June, likely followed by results in July.

When SMS sent, students would get the pdf of their detailed result on their registered mobile number.
Grading System for WB Madhyamik 2025
The results of the West Bengal Madhyamik 2025 will be based on a graded system of performance measurement for students. The grades will be given in percentage ranges as below:

The grading system allows a transparent assessment of the overall performance of students whereby students have been graded from A+ to F, depending on the marks scored in Madhyamik exams.
Criteria for Passing
Students must, therefore, secure a minimum of thirty marks out of ninety in the theory paper and at least three marks out of ten in the internal assessment in order to be declared successful in the Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations. The total marks required for success is two hundred seventy-two (27+3+25+20+41=272) out of an aggregate of eight hundred (34% of the 800-point scale).
Compartment Exams
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education provides for considering compartment examinations conducted in June for students who have failed in one or maximum two subjects. The result of the compartment exams is generally announced in July to August 2025 through the official site of the Board.
