The Staff Selection Commission, Northern Region has released the Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) PE&MT Admit Card 2026 online. Candidates shortlisted for the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test can download their e-admit cards from sscnr.nic.in for the recruitment of 509 Head Constable (Ministerial) posts.

The admit card contains the candidate’s reporting time, test date, venue and important examination-day instructions. Entry to the PE&MT venue will be permitted only after verification of the e-admit card and prescribed identity documents.

Candidates should rely on the date and reporting schedule printed on their individual admit cards. They are advised to reach the test centre well before the reporting time because late entry may not be allowed.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board as on the prescribed eligibility date.
  • Applicants must possess the required typing ability for the ministerial post.
  • The recruitment process may include an English or Hindi typing test and a computer formatting test after the qualifying stages.
  • Candidates must produce original educational and supporting certificates during document verification.

Age Limit

  • The general age requirement is 18 to 25 years, calculated on the cut-off date specified in the recruitment notice.
  • Candidates must have been born within the dates prescribed in the detailed notification.
  • Upper-age relaxation is available to SC, ST, OBC, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Central Government rules.
  • Date of birth recorded in the matriculation or secondary school certificate will normally be treated as final.

Fees

  • Application fee: Rs. 100 for candidates required to pay the fee.
  • Women candidates and eligible SC, ST and ex-servicemen candidates are generally exempt from payment.
  • Any applicable online transaction charge is payable separately.
  • The application fee, once paid, is ordinarily non-refundable.

Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based Examination: Applicants first appear for an objective examination covering areas such as general awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English language and computer fundamentals.
  2. PE&MT and Skill Tests: Shortlisted candidates undergo the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test. Those qualifying may be called for typing and computer-formatting tests, as applicable to the ministerial post.
  3. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final eligibility is established through verification of original documents and the prescribed medical examination before appointment.

The PE&MT is qualifying in nature, but candidates must meet all notified physical standards and complete the endurance events successfully. The details applicable to each candidate category should be checked in the recruitment notification.

  1. Visit the SSC Northern Region website at sscnr.nic.in.
  2. Open the link for the Delhi Police Head Constable (Ministerial) PE&MT e-Admit Card 2026 from the admit card or latest notices section.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates are appointed as Head Constable (Ministerial) under Pay Level 4, carrying a basic pay scale of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100. The post also carries admissible Central Government allowances, including dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance and other benefits under applicable service rules.
