Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy: A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
- Indian Naval Academy: An engineering degree from a recognised university or institution.
- Air Force Academy: A recognised bachelor’s degree with Physics and Mathematics studied at the Class 12 level, or a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of the prescribed degree were permitted to apply subject to producing proof of qualification within the stipulated timeline.
Age Limit
- IMA and INA: Unmarried male candidates generally within the notified 19–24-year age bracket.
- Air Force Academy: Candidates generally required to be 20–24 years old. The upper limit may extend to 26 years for eligible candidates holding a valid Commercial Pilot Licence.
- OTA: Candidates generally required to be 19–25 years old, subject to the prescribed marital-status conditions.

Fees
- General and OBC male candidates: ₹200.
- Female, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No application fee.

Selection Process
- Written Examination: Candidates appeared for objective papers covering English, General Knowledge and Elementary Mathematics. OTA applicants were required to take English and General Knowledge papers only.
