GSSSB Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2026

Topic-Wise Syllabus

  • Reasoning and Data Interpretation: Series, analogy, classification, coding-decoding, logical reasoning, syllogism, blood relations, directions, charts, tables and data analysis.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Number system, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, time and work, time and distance, algebra and basic geometry.
  • General Studies and Languages: Indian Constitution, governance, Gujarat-related general knowledge, national and international current affairs, and Gujarati and English comprehension.
  • Technical Subjects: Statistical methods, probability, sampling, measures of central tendency and dispersion, correlation, regression, index numbers, time series, demographic statistics, research methodology, economic concepts and official statistics.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Economics or another relevant subject prescribed for the post.
