Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution.
- The prescribed minimum marks and category-based relaxation will apply as stated in Advertisement No. 1/2023.
- Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to the Matric level or higher is required.
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed computer proficiency and typing requirements for the Clerk post.
- Applicants called for verification must produce original educational certificates and supporting documents.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Maximum age: 42 years, calculated with reference to the cut-off date in the recruitment notification.
- Age relaxation is applicable to SC, BC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Haryana government rules.
Fees
The following application fees were applicable during the now-closed registration period:
- General category male candidates: ₹1,000.
- General category female candidates from Haryana: ₹500.
- SC, BC and EWS male candidates of Haryana: ₹250.
- SC, BC and EWS female candidates of Haryana: ₹125.
- PwBD candidates: Exempt, subject to the conditions in the notification.
Candidates should refer to their submitted application and the detailed notification for the final fee status applicable to their category.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: Eligible applicants will appear for the written test on September 13, 2026. Questions will be based on the syllabus and examination pattern prescribed by LUVAS.
- Typing/Computer Skill Test: Candidates shortlisted from the written examination may be required to qualify the typing or computer proficiency test applicable to the Clerk post.
- Document Verification and Final Selection: Original documents, category certificates and eligibility records will be checked before the final merit list is prepared. A medical examination may also be conducted where required.
How to Apply
The online application period has already closed. Registered candidates can now access their admit cards by following these steps:
- Visit the official LUVAS website at luvas.in.
- Open the recruitment, career or non-teaching recruitment section on the homepage.
- Select the link titled LUVAS Clerk Admit Card 2026 or WTR-2023 admit card.
- Enter the required login details, such as the registration number, user ID, password or date of birth.
- Submit the details and verify the candidate’s name, photograph, roll number, examination date, shift and centre address.
- Download the admit card and take at least two clear printouts for future use.
Candidates should immediately contact the university’s recruitment authorities if the hall ticket contains an incorrect photograph, category, name or examination-centre detail. On exam day, they must carry the printed admit card, an original government-issued photo ID and any additional document specified in the instructions. Electronic devices, study material and prohibited items must not be taken inside the examination hall.
