Selection Process
The selection process for RPSC Veterinary Officer recruitment generally consists of the following stages:
- Competitive Examination: Applicants must appear for the written examination conducted by RPSC. Performance in this stage forms the primary basis for preparation of the merit list.
- Document and Eligibility Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original academic certificates, veterinary council registration, identity documents, category certificates and other required records.
- Final Merit and Appointment: RPSC prepares the main and reserve lists after applying the notified merit criteria. Appointment recommendations are subject to eligibility verification, medical fitness and resolution of any pending legal proceedings.
The 455-candidate reserve list may be used in accordance with commission and state government rules if vacancies arise due to non-joining, ineligibility or other permitted circumstances. Inclusion in either list does not by itself guarantee appointment.
